Art Festival
The art festival was fun because of variety, the teachers and the sponsors. We had musical chairs, lobster buoys, pastels, watercolors, drawing and comics, just to name a few. Each activity was fun in some way. The man who was teaching pastels was really encouraging. They each took the time to help each one of us in the workshop, and even teach us poems. The mime show at the end of the day was funny and he also taught us how to mime. A huge thanks to everyone who helped make the day possible.
Paper BLogs
This week and for a few weeks before this we have worked on our paper blogs. You might find the pictures of our blogs interesting. The assignment was to write something that we were passionate about and we enjoyed writing about it. We got comments from each other about our writing, and also got to leave comments for our classmates. If you are in the building at any time and you have a couple of seconds, you can look over our blogs in the fifth grade hallway and leave a comment. | |
Science
In science with Mr. Jackins we are growing plants and each plant is missing a certain variable. We've also been using our computers to type our observations. We recording our observations on a grid. Our groups have worked well together and we hope to see some sprouts soon.
